Roberts Gray Architects is a New Zealand architectural practice with studios in Auckland and Wānaka, shaped by the collective experience of its directors across Aotearoa New Zealand, the United States, Australia and the Netherlands. The practice explores architecture’s enduring qualities and conventions while creating buildings and public spaces that are generous and accommodating of life. Its work spans residential, cultural, public and competition projects, with a strong emphasis on site, landscape, materiality and context.
Roberts Gray takes an open and conversational design approach, collaborating closely with clients, consultants and creative disciplines. Through shared authorship and experimentation, the practice develops architecture that extends beyond the brief and creates thoughtful, distinctive and enduring places.
