Megan & Willis established Nautical Homes in 2018 to provide a platform to promote their range of coastal inspired building plans.
Initially set up in 2015 in Whitianga as DLM Construction, they now run both companies concurrently, with DLM acting as the main contractor for Nautical Homes’ designs.
The owners pride themselves on their point of difference, which is personally overseeing the project management and build for each job they take on. They also have long standing relationships with their locally based sub-contractors, which helps ensure project schedules are kept on track.
As many of these plans had previously been built as spec homes, they felt it was time to make these designs more widely available, with an aim to streamlining the decision-making process for their clients.
