Glamuzina Architects is an Auckland-based architectural practice established in 2014 by Director Dominic Glamuzina. The practice strives to produce architecture that is crafted, contextual and clever, using a rigorous and collaborative design process to create work that responds meaningfully to its surroundings. Its projects span residential, commercial, hospitality, cultural and renovation work, ranging from small interiors to larger public buildings.
Glamuzina Architects looks beyond the immediate physical site, considering social, political, historical and economic conditions to develop architecture uniquely tailored to its context. Rather than relying on elaborate finishes or complex detailing, the practice uses materials, light and volume creatively and intelligently. Its work has received numerous national and local awards.
