The huge outdoor covered swimming pool was a highlight of this project for Marsden Homes.
Using schist stone columns and exposed trusses truely enhance the outdoor aspect of this pavilion area – which provides shade for half of the pool, and allows natural sunlight into the bottom area.
Based in Ruakaka, Marsden Homes specialises in high end builds from Marsden Point to One Tree Point, Waipu, Langs Beach, Bream Bay and Whangarei.
The owner-operated company enjoyed the challenge of making something special out of the useable space that was lacking in the backyard of this property.
The pool and deck area is covered by a massive roof with a complex louvre system that can open and close as needed.
There is even a changing shed onsite and the pool is heated, complimented with its own glass balustrade to keep it enclosed and safe.
