With just a 312 sqm section to work with, Friendship Builder has managed to build an impressive 261 sqm home that looks big and bold.
Dramatic lighting inside draws the eye in to what most people would expect to be a small and quaint space, but once you step inside, you will be quite surprised.
With the positioning of the fireplace on the middle back wall, the entire living space is completely opened up so you can see right
from the front of the house to the back.
High ceilings lined with cedar continue through into both the entrance way and the staircase, where underneath is another surprise.
A small bar area with a wine cellar has been tucked neatly into the space, and around the perimeter of the house are massive drop
down curtains that can be opened at the flick of a switch.
Everything is as neat as a pin, and finished off perfectly with recessed lighting – including on the outside under the soffits.
The pitch roof breaks up the scale of the boxed shaped home but was essential for the central heating system, explained marketing manager Adelyn Kwok.
The open home was finished in October 2022 and already the company has received many enquiries from people wanting to buy it.
“People are amazed how big it is when they look at it from the outside. They think it is very small but when you step inside it is a lot wider and bigger.”
Friendship Builder will be building a second show home in Greenhill Park in 2024 so keep a look out for that as well.
Most of the work is done in house starting with the builder and also including their very experienced and detailed tiler, plaster, roofer as well as the landscaping.
