Liam Wackrow is a Joiner and started working in the business when he was two years old – waving around all the tradesmen’s hammers and planes.

Over the years growing up with the company, he worked in many capacities such as sweeper boy, smoko boy, making doors and then moved into the accounts side of the business while attending Massey University.

His father told him he should try other careers and countries before thinking about the business.  For the next seven years he worked in the finance sector before heading overseas to the United States.  When he came back to Cambridge and bought a house he got seriously involved into the business by becoming a shareholder.

He is also the President of the Waikato Master Joiners and the New Zealand Master Joiners as well as being heavily involved in the NZS:4211 Compliant Timber Joinery project from conception to roll out.

Shareholder Carl Riley is a Craftsman Joiner and did his apprenticeship with Wackrows, and this is where his love for the industry started.

Completing his apprenticeship with a trade certificate and then two years later with an advanced trade certificate, along with completing small business management courses stood him in good stead to become part of the company in Wackrows in 1997.

Shareholder Bryce Norris (Nossy) is also a Craftsman Joiner and has been involved with Wackrows for 15+ years.  He also served his apprenticeship and became a qualified joiner with the company.
