Barbara Baker Architects

Barbara Baker is an architect based in Napier, and has designed everything from woodsheds, air traffic control towers in both Gisborne and Tonga, and a small observatory for the Hawkes Bay Astronomical Society.

Because she operates a small one person practice, she can be more focused, flexible and cost-effective, and is aware of people’s needs, aspirations and budgets.

As a Licensed Building Practitioner and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, she offers a relaxed personal service, using the latest technology and computer modelling to help visualise your project, and to share with friends and family.

She offers negotiable, flexible contracts for services from concept design to construction drawings and supervision, as well as drafting services, and networks with a range of consultants and colleagues to suit project size and complexity as necessary.

Barbara has 30 years local and national experience and is very open to unusual projects and design ideas.

Some of her projects have involved education, special needs, elder care as well as palliative care, industrial and subdivision planning.

Building your project, be it your home or your business, can be an incredible experience. Employing a professional can ensure that your project is not only a success, but is also a positive, rewarding experience.

With Barbara Baker Architect Ltd, you can take the prime seat and enjoy the ride, letting the professionals do what they do best.
