Sharon Jansen Architect is a Wellington based residential practice led by Sharon Jansen, a NZIA Fellow who graduated from Auckland University in 1984 and became a Registered Architect in 1994. After nine years working on luxury resort projects across Australia, Singapore, and France, Sharon returned to New Zealand, later joining Tennent + Brown Architects as senior architect, where she won an NZIA Award for the Leigh House.
Sharon returned to private practice in 2014, focusing on new residential projects, alterations, and interventions, with a particular passion for restoring and reimagining existing modernist houses through elegant, considered architectural solutions.
