dn2 is a family run, registered architecture practice based in Auckland, led by Nikki Launder alongside Dave, a seminal figure in Wellington’s architectural scene through the 1970s and 80s, known for commercial, residential, and government work including Perrett’s Corner. Taking a waste not, want not approach, dn2 designs structures that acknowledge and embrace the Earth’s shifting conditions, with a particular focus on interior living and how people navigate space.
The practice has earned national recognition for optimistic innovation, including the NZIA Supreme Award for Kaitawa House, and has been featured in publications including Wallpaper magazine and NZ Home and Building.
