Pattersons is an award-winning New Zealand architecture practice founded in Aotearoa in 1986, led by directors Andrew Patterson, Andrew Mitchell and Surya Fullerton. The studio creates site-specific, materially rich architecture that responds deeply to landscape, culture and sense of place. Its diverse portfolio spans residential, commercial, civic, cultural, hospitality, tourism, sports and leisure projects across New Zealand and internationally.
Pattersons combines rigorous design thinking with collaborative, multidisciplinary processes, technical expertise and carefully crafted detailing. With a particular focus on authentic New Zealand identity and architecture that belongs to its environment, the practice creates buildings that are both emotionally resonant and enduring, connecting people, place and experience through thoughtful design.
