The brief was to create a light-filled, contemporary home overlooking the adjacent golf course and to provide space for the owners’ art collection – in particular, a much-loved bronze memorial sculpture. Durable and naturally coloured materials of Otago schist and pre-finished aluminium cladding beautifully complement the artwork.
